We are hosting two Virtual Recruitment Open Days on the following dates:

Whether you’re new to care or have previous experience, this session will help you explore whether a Support Worker role could be right for you.
About the Role
As a Support Worker at Drummond Lodge, you’ll support adults with learning disabilities and additional needs to live meaningful, fulfilled lives. The role is varied, hands‑on, and centred around promoting independence, dignity and choice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day‑to‑day practical and emotional support
- Supporting individuals with personal care in a respectful, person‑centred way
- Encouraging and enabling independence and life skills
- Supporting people to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities
- Promoting health, wellbeing and positive outcomes
- Working closely with colleagues, families and professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
- Supporting individuals whose needs may include complex or challenging behaviours, using positive and proactive approaches
Full training and ongoing development are provided, so previous experience is helpful but not essential.
