  • Job title: Credit Controller

    Location: Coventry (CV3 4FJ) Hybrid Role

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Responsibilities of the Credit Controller

    • Credit Control - Management of numerous customer accounts
    • Monitor and work closely with home mangers on fees and customer debts.
    • Assisting with daily cash posting
    • Dealing with queries by email and phone
    • Assist in aged debt reporting’s
    • Assisting in clearing unallocated cash and follow up on discrepancies on fees.
    • Assisting the finance team on ad hoc tasks
    • May be occasional billing support requirements.
    • Assist in month end tasks where possible.

    The Successful Applicant

              Knowledge of care industry will be advantageous but not essential

              Good interpersonal skills

              Cash posting experience

              Takes ownership of managing queries until resolution

              Attention to detail is a must

              Experience of dealing with Government customers would be an advantage

    The Role

    • Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
    • You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
    • Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times.
    • Ensure that all the people we support have person centered support/care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
    • To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
